At first, I thought you would die when the number countdown reached zero. I later realized that the countdown actually reveals the coordinates instead.

If the game gets expanded further, I think it could be interesting to add something like a radar system, allowing players to calculate the opponent’s coordinates and fire more actively and strategically.

The overall art concept is great. Good game!

Thanks for the review!

Definitely! We’re thinking of changing the distance system to work alongside a map, revamping the whole coordinate mechanic, and maybe mixing in a few upgrades/roguelite elements so it has more replayability!

The visuals here are very cohesive and interesting to look like, I could hazard a guess based on the look and layout that this is somewhat inspired by Iron Lung, which it evokes nicely. The game itself seems a little too hard though. Despite getting the numbers very quickly, loading, and firing the artillery, after the third  launch I automatically lost before I even had the change to turn back around and continue inputting the numbers. I think with better balancing and a more gradual ramping of difficulty would improve the experience greatly. As a whole, I do think it is very well done. I will also say as  a small nitpick, the sort of flickering light sound that plays in the room by default is very grating on sensitive  ears and repeats very often, so adding some variety to that might be a good choice. Good job!

Thanks for the review and feedback! We honestly didn’t have enough time to test and play a lot to balance it properly. Definitely going to change that, and the flickering lights are a must too!

Cool game concept, but I was simply too bad at it — really difficult. I do like the PS1-style visuals though, and the dark atmosphere comes across really well.

Is it intentional that the mouse cursor constantly drifts downward?

Developer

Not really, that shouldn’t really happen xD. We’re looking into it right now

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for taking the time to play and giving some feedback! I’m currently working on a quick fix for the Y-Monitor in the new build. If we continue developing it, we’ll definitely need to put some thought into improving the replayability.
