Today I want to give a shoutout to another indie developer project that I’ve been following:
A grimdark parody 2D visual novel/RPG set in a collapsing hive city full of cults, corruption, mutants, suspicious alleyways, and deeply questionable career choices.
The latest version is now available and the project has continued to grow with new systems, exploration content, combat encounters, and management mechanics.

You play as a young female acolyte serving the Holy Inquisition as she investigates disappearances, heretical cults, forbidden secrets, and various horrors buried beneath the city.
The game mixes:

Combat plays a major role, with tactical turn-based battles against cultists, mutants, criminals, rogue abominations, and other enemies lurking throughout the hive.
Because diplomacy stopped working somewhere around 10,000 years ago.

The game also features exploration through underground hideouts, abandoned ruins, forbidden facilities, and dangerous sectors filled with loot, enemies, and ominous noises behind walls that probably should remain unexplained.

Players can purchase weapons, armor, supplies, and black-market equipment from merchants and allies throughout the city.
A heavily armed acolyte tends to survive slightly longer.
Usually.

One of the newest additions is a Brothel Management Minigame tied to the Heretic route progression.
Players can recruit workers, manage upgrades, improve profits, maintain customer satisfaction, and attempt to operate the least spiritually-approved business venture in the hive city.
The Inquisition almost certainly disapproves.
Probably.
In addition to INQUISITOR TRAINER, Adeptus Celeng is also developing a separate side-story beat ’em up project set in the same universe featuring fast-paced side-scrolling combat against gangs, cultists, mutants, and other unfortunate individuals standing in your path.
If you enjoy grimdark parody settings, hand-drawn indie games, visual novels, RPG mechanics, or hive-city aesthetics, this project is worth checking out.
