Everything felt great to play - it really did felt like a shmup

The cat's eye pattern was fun (and the sprite made me laugh)

Russian Doll was also a really good idea.

Bomb giving huge score was cool.

Very clean and on-point style and design, the controls feel snappy, the enemies feel fun and engaging. For me, a Touhou fan, everything was straightforward and right-at-home :) I have a sweet spot for the old DOS-like UI feeling as well.

Others mentioned well-crafted patterns as well; I agree!

Thanks for the submission!

I really love the bullet patterns here. It just seems all really creative for such a limited medium. movement felt really good. Congratulations on a solid submission.

I liked the matryoshka doll enemy. The graze and visuals of the cat boss were pretty fun. Could use some music!

this is really really good! the controls are tight and responsive, shooting felt great, i only wish there was some killer sound track, your boss designs were fun, it's a straight to the point experience and i think it really landed with me. c: great work!

It took me a couple of tries to beat the game, I scored 1081461 points.

I enjoyed the game, the controls are perfect and the game looks clean, there are  a couple of cool patterns to dodge as well as extra differences bewteen the 3 sequences and the difficulty is on point for the jam.

We also want to thank you for using matrioshkas, we decided against putting any in our game because somebody else likely would and I was the most insistent about that argument so I would have been the most ridiculous if nobody did ;)

Thanks for sharing!
