This message appears as soon as I start the game. How do I fix it

I don't know if someone has already said this, but after the third time captured in the bandit city, after the only sentence in the attached image, there's only a black scene with no message, no content but just stuck there. Iguess there maybe some problem? (also I still don't get it what can we do invading in the bandit's or Amazon's city at night, seems nothing interactable but only to get caught and trigger CGs. Did I miss any spot?)

I'd come across a bug for some time now. When I used a Return Gem, it forces the monster NPCs to retain their current position rather than return to their original position. Ex. One NPC was down south from Suma City but supposed to be northwest where you find the cotton could be. I used v0.7.99.5.

The first and only time this happened so far was when I tried to use the Lighten gem while in base. 

Randomly crashing :/
