This is a cute game. It cleaver to have to use the tides as the only way to move the boat. I think the game could use some music to go along with it, but nice job

nice idea with cargo recollection! Also fun detail with obstacles (rocks). moon and wave overlay was a bit confusing though, maybe there is a way to convey the concept visually a bit more appealing:)

really cool, I kinda missed having some music or sound to vibe with while playing, but I liked the idea

Good job finishing the game for the Jam! I liked the art assets you made as well. One thing I noticed was the game scales differently depending on the resolution you are on. I would recommend looking into the godot project files for viewport fixing to make sure it renders the same on all devices.

Thanks for the specific advice. I didnt notice that but Ill get to testing and make a note of the viewport fixing :).

I love the hand-drawn art style! I was a bit bored until the clouds showed up and the animation of the player getting hit by lightning 👌 ended up enjoying the dodging game⚡⚡⚡

Thanks! That simple 2 frame animation was my favorite (of the few we made) to work on and see in action. Would've loved to add more features, we had a decent list, but had to stop working quite early and wanted to submit what we had.

Once I loaded into the game I thought it was going to be bad, but then I started playing. You clearly focused on the FUN part more than the art and polish and I saw things that I would have spent way too long trying to fix. But these things didn't affect how I played and it was very fun!

Personally I love the hand drawn art style, i just wish there was some sound effects. There also seems to be a formatting issue which should be a simple fix.

The game looks a bit unpolished but the gameplay is very fun

I’m personally into indirect control systems, so I had a good time with this.

Me too if you look at my page all three games have indirect control systems lol, one is literally controlling an animal from inside the brain.

Mine has the same concept lol

Developer

My teammate and I checked it out actually! It's fun seeing the same concept come up and diverge into quite different things. Great job btw! Im looking forward to being able to work on another jam soon, maybe we'll see you around.
