How did you use generative AI?
I used jules from google to build it based on an descriptive game design document

Very cool game idea- here's my feedback.

Challenges: I ran into an error/bug in the tutorial that stopped progression there so I went to the main mode. I  could only run on Chrome (Safari didn't work with WebGPU enabled) and I think more descriptions/tooltips would've helped for polish.

Overall I love the style of this game and the simple yet on theme aspect of networking. It goes pairs nicely with the concept of the genre- a refreshing take for tower defence games, well done!

I do enjoy your game:) it’s not easy - which is cool:) and it’s something different than you usually see - I do like the entire concept of it:) very well done:))

Overall: A solid, working tower defense prototype with potential

What Worked Well:

  • The animated dashed lines look great and add a nice visual touch.
  • The core gameplay loop has legs.
  • Functioning UI and menus.
  • Pretty graphics. I like the obscured light around walls that the enemies make.

Areas for Improvement:

  • UI & Audio Feedback: Adding simple audio cues (blips/bloops) for UI hovers and clicks would greatly improve the feel. It's also hard to tell if shooting nodes are generating currency; the UI could make this clearer.
  • Tutorial Pacing: The tutorial text moves a bit too fast to read, and I missed the details  like what  J, K, and L  do.
  • Clarity & Mechanics: Some of the cyberpunk terminology (like "Data Synthesis" and "Grid Anomalies") feels a bit like AI-generated technobabble you hear in Suno lyrics like "Neon Dreams". Simplifying this into plain English would make the mechanics much easier to grasp.
  • Node Connection Issues: I was frequently frustrated by not being able to connect nodes. Adding a clear cooldown timer or error message would prevent players from getting confused and quiting.
  • Win Conditions: It wasn't entirely clear if the stages had a specific win condition or if they just go on forever. (made it to wave 6!)

I'd appreciate a rating of my game if you haven't already.

This game isn't working, I don't know why. I gave you a rating, you can also rate my game, I would be happy to do so.Starbound Paradis

A little bit confusing, what is the objective?

Developer

Thanks you so much for playing! The concept behind it is to connect the towers and get through as many waves as possible before formatting to get core fragments, then try again to get to a higher wave. The modifiers on the towers that change while they are connected are the main connection to the "A mind of its' own" theme .

Pacing could be improved I think to make it more challenging so getting the core fragments feels more rewarding. I hope the design of the game comes through, definitely not broadly appealing.

I really appreciate your time and feedback!

can you write a description on how to play the game, like control, which key to press, how to connect lines?

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! There's a tutorial level in the level select list the first one gives an overview of the game mechanics, I can make it more visible and I'll deploy an update. Hope you check it out again soon!

Developer

Just published a new version of the game, the tutorial now has an animation showing where to drag and drop, hope this makes it a bit more enjoyable, thank you so much for your feedback!

thanks a lot! can you give me some suggestions to use generative AI since everyone else I know opposes AI so I never really know how to make a wonderful game like this with generative AI!

Developer

There unfortunately isn't a good guide on how to write games with AI,  generative AI is really still trial and error and seeing what works and what doesn't, but that's half the fun. I found that what really helps with the process is writing a really good game design document and covering every possible aspect of the game then referencing that as you ask the model to implement it. Wikipedia has a really good page on writing game design documents.
