Really neat mechanic. It was fun chaining together a bunch of arrows to kind of create a path for myself, though it took a little bit of experimentation to figure out that that was what I was meant to be doing. Getting yourself positioned in the right spot on the ground felt really awkward, I almost wonder if this concept would work better if it was designed around being able to move normally only while on the ground, maybe even with a small jump. That might help prevent accidentally touching arrows too, if you made it so that you could only touch them if you were in the air, as that was another pain point for me personally. The levels got pretty punishing pretty fast, I think I would have liked some checkpoints, or maybe just for the puzzles to be a bit shorter. But I really loved the mechanic, and I think it's definitely worth exploring further with some refinement :)

Thank you for playing our game! Level design and pacing is definitely an area we want to develop further. Tutorial levels earlier on too. One mechanic we want to better guide players toward discovering is braking by placing a down arrow on the cow while grounded!

Love the idea and movement mechanic. Occasionally I would like to have a checkpoint, even though that might go against some of the rage bait feel.

Here's a playtest, your game is included as one of the chapters

Thank you for checking out our game and streaming it! Very helpful to watch you play and figure out mechanics and puzzles along with your feedback!

Niche little game idea, especially with the movement mechanic!

original concept.  a good vector math puzzle.  I started placing my arrows carefully, then just ended up spamming as many arrows as i could as fast as possible in the directions i wanted to go. it feels a little like work sometimes though.  What about allowing some at 45 degrees.  it would still be challenging but you could progress more fluidly..

came alive one i realized I can stack arrows

Once I figured out what it was, I felt like a child playing physics flash games on the family computer again lol. Really cool idea and appreciated the simplicity. My level complete graph was always off the screen since I was making arrow conveyor belts for this cow.

I really really enjoyed the puzzle of moving around once I got the hang of it. At first I thought I wasn't able to play because I was only on a track pad.

My only thought would be to make levels slightly shorter (just for pacing sake)

Fun entry!

I’m sorry but the controls were far to finnicky for my taste, but maybe this is supposed to be a rage game :)

I started on a touchpad and found it impossible to play, so I pulled out my phone but it wasn’t much better there. I feel it would work much better if you could click/touch anywhere, and do diagonal or arbitrary-direction jumps.

edit: oh after reading the comments I realize now how the arrows are supposed to work! Honestly thought that was a glitch :) Will play some more and revise my rating…

Fun idea! Once I understood the core idea it was very intuitive. I liked that the game was mostly about planning but had some space for impromptu steering, it felt satisfying. And I liked the scoreboard showing how well you did without any numbers. And of course the cow was very cute :D

really cool idea, mabye ability to move the camera around freely make more difficult shots easer

Unique gamplay!!

Would be nice to have diagonal arrows

This was a really cool idea!! Love the cow lol

I really like this one :) Chaining the arrows together to create huge speed is very satisfying, and chaining them together to create precision movement is *also* satisfying. I kinda wish there was also a "number of times cow was tossed" counter separate from the arrow counter that counts the number of times the cow touched the ground, or something.

This has a very creative movement mechanic which I really enjoyed. At first I thought I just needed to drag a line from my cow in the direction I wanted to go and thought I'd encountered a bug when my line stayed on screen but then realized how it worked and instantly much preferred it to how I thought it worked! Some interesting challenges in the level design too

That was really unique! I loved the aspect of planning your moves ahead.

On the first level I thought there was going to be some secret/star up the mountain at the end because you could climb it but it was more challenging but I just ended up falling into the endless abyss over the mountain :)

The combination of planning moves ahead and reacting in real-time is really interesting. Would love to see this concept developed further!
