Hello there, I hope you're doing alright?

So we had a very light thunderstorm today with some termites swarming outside on my way back from work and I thought that would be the worst of it.

Well it turns out it was enough to collapse the sewage drainage unit/soakaway thing that just so happens to be right next to my window. That's literally my room window in the picture, right next to the collapsed and exposed underground waste collection structure.

I am going to have to live with this smell and all the toxic fumes coming out of it for at least another 7 months because we are legally required to pay rent for a year in advance and my landlord is too busy enjoying his life in England or whatever foreign country he lives in and I honestly hope that they will be enough to kill me peacefully in my sleep.
