Cool game! I'll echo what synchro said below about a pop-up to notify player to examine the doors. I hadn't really thought to do that, so I spent all my time trying out each item at every door haha. I think the mechanic of being able to get folks to surrender with your gun pulled out, but having your gun slow you down is legit brilliant. It made entering every room stressful and punished me for moments where I was trying to rush. Great work!

Really cool game ngl, It's kinda confusing at first though. but I do like the cutscene(?) at the start, nice way to drop the lore, Maybe you can add like a tutorial stage to help the players get a hang of it but overall a good game. if you have time you can check out my game:/jam/godot-wild-jam-93/rate/4585241

A cool experience, kind of has a liminal / backrooms quality too it that I liked. One thing, I wish there was some kind of UI pop-up on the doors to let me know to use the spacebar an read their description. It took me a while to realize that they were just representational. I know the instruction says to interact with obstacles but I didn't quite put together that the reason for that was because the door represent something else than what they look like. Otherwise though nice job!
