I didn't rate the game because I rage quite on the second level. I thought it wouldn't be fair if I leave a really bad rating when it just isn't my kind of game. How am I supposed to get up to the second leaver? Impossible!

Submitted

I believe you have to do wall jumps to reach the leavers on the second level.

Well yes, that is what I thought.. at least I was on the right track then.

Developer

Thats how it supposed to go but I should had removed that spike on the second level. Besides that, thanks for trying out the game!

Nice concept with the cat watching OwO, the cat has crazy eyes.

I like the visual style and Game Boy-esque color palette, but I think the controls could be more intuitive. Instead of jumping with the spacebar, you could jump with the up arrow key, and it should have the option to play with WASD, since it's more comfortable for a platformer in my opinion, and because not all keyboards have arrow keys. Gameplay-wise, I don't have much to highlight, but I did find the way you incorporated the theme of being a little rat escaping from a cat clever.

Thanks for the playing the game! I would keep that in mind :>

Very clever take on a platformer with only three buttons to work with. Nice gfx and really nice game mechanics with the wall sliding as the center piece. Good work!

Developer

Thanks! It certainly was a challenge to make a platformer  while being intuitive with its controls. Especially how the z button became the jump/interact button  of the game :>

Great! The last level with just one lever was fun, making you platform to the end with all the mechanics in mind. I do think that being able to flip off the switches is an odd choice though, as it did mess up a jump or two for me–however, it could be an interesting mechanic to see in the future where you need certain levers that are on/off in order to progress! Had fun with this one :)

Thank you for playing the game! I also had the idea where the levers play around opening/closing parts of levels but I did not have enough time to implement it. However, I will definitely add it once I update the game. :>
