Thanks, I emailed you
Great job on the game! I really loved the UI, and the CRT effect and music were awesome... I did notice a few small things that could help polish it up.. the player sprite doesn't currently flip to face left when moving in that direction... Also adding some feedback when hitting an enemy would be super helpful, as it’s a bit hard to tell if attacks are connecting right now. Lastly, it would be great to have a way to see the player's health ^^
Thanks! I really appreciate it
That's on my friend Red Noise, he made it with a Korg Electribe MX with damn VALVES, perfect for a cyberpunk setting like this.
That's when using the mouse to aim (it always face mouse cursor position), if instead a gamepad or touch is used then the player face where it is going. I could have toggled this for melee since there is no need to aim with that.
There is a little animation which is, as you told, possible to miss. Some friends of mine, while testing it, told me the same thing that it's a bit unclear when player actually hit. Maybe a sound could have been helpful.
It is in the top left. It's hard to read because I choose a weird font to make a semi-futuristic weird HUD which looks cool :P but at the expense of readability. Not a good choice of mine, to be honest.
Thank you for playing the game and for the precious feedback.
Maybe we could team up for a jam sometime in the future, if you like.
