The fun stuff:
Awesome game, concept, puzzles, and music! Seriously top quality and the polished levels made it a fun experience I'd expect from like, a 5-10$ mobile game. You have a knack for fun interesting puzzle games fit for a wide audience.
The not so fun stuff:
Had to update to JDK 26 rather than the latest JRE to get it to run (otherwise bit.flip() returning Buffer vs ByteBuffer would crash on start). Supposedly there's javac --release games that are supposed to be played to make the jar more portable for JREs.
I also had a hard crash on drawing folds at very particular angles... console output attached:

I really appreciate it, I love how much effort this community puts in to getting past bugs to get games running.
This divide by zeros were an absolute plague. I’m doing a lot of line intersection calculations, and any time there’s a coincident segment it gets really tricky. I think if I’d had the time I could have come up with a safe and consistent approach 😅
The music is by my brother, apparently it took him 20 minutes, he’s irritatingly good!
This is such a clever game! The two tutorial levels were great. It took me toooo long to realise there were instructions on that second level and was getting very creative with my folding.
Thanks for playing!
When I started sketching it out I cut out a bunch of strips of paper and sat on the sofa trying to fold shapes. An hour passed without me noticing and I was like “Oh… Oh this is fun.”
To run on Macos:
On macOS, I can’t press the play button, nor advance with any of the keys, and the game won’t start without the
-XstartOnFirstThreadflag. Looks interesting. Any tips on how I can make it work?Yeah -XstartOnFirstThread is required, MacOS doesn’t love OpenGL 😅
The Mac version was built on my crappy 2012 MacBook air, so my guess is this is a retina display issue?
Can you try:
Let me know if that doesn’t work and I’ll do some more digging.
same kind of problem:
The button is not clickable.
Found the button. Had to stretch the window a lot, and it’s somewhere here at the mouse pointer position on the screenshot:
I think there might be a mismatch between the physical pixels that
glfwGetFramebufferSizereturns and the virtual screen pixels thatglfwGetCursorPosreturns, so a scale needs to be applied when mapping clicks on UI elementsYeah it’s definitely something like that. Not an easy post-submission fix unfortunately.
The game isn’t designed to be full screen either, it’s intentionally small, but maybe that looks rubbish on a retina display?
Well, it’s quite smol on the screen, but I played it for a bit like that. Cool game!
Thanks so much for the effort ☺️
