This is a great concept that could be worked on and released as a game after polishing and getting the right audio and the puzzle part sorted. The animations for the cat! Wow. This is such a good 9 day jam concept. Well Done

Hard to understand the mechanics at the start, even with the tutorial, but overall it’s a fun and unique concept. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but the graphics feel a bit blurry.
Thank you for trying it out and for your feedback! Always very appreciated so that I can learn and grow! Yes I will have a look at the blurriness, I normally double scale my assets and use them without Gdevelop smooth function, then they look usually sharp. This time I did not do it to save time. Only some of the texts I left without the smoothness, I saw it was even harder to read because of the underline blurriness. And thank you for mentioning the tutorial, once I finish developing of the concept after the JAM I will definitely work on the tutorial more! Sometimes to create a tutorial feels like making another game haha :)

Go high kitty, reach the skies!!! I really love the idea of this game, mixing a Match-3 game with building a tower to reach the top is a really cool game idea! However it’s one that needs good execution, for example the Match-3 part seems to be completely optional in a way, like you can just fully ignore it and focus on reaching the top, of course, you don’t get a good score but even then, you should find a good way to make the matching system necessary while allowing progress as you play it! I can’t really think of a way for this to work but I’m sure you’ll be able to think of something awesome if you put your mind to it! I love the tutorial at the beginning, it’s simple, quick, and explains everything pretty well! You did great explaining how to play :D The audios are good and i love the art, the cat is very cute!:] About bugs, besides being able to place blocks above others, it’s worth noting that you can leave the cat floating in the air if you match the blocks they’re inside of, so try fixing that whenever you can! Overall a good game idea, this jam version of course lacks a little content but that’s very understandable as the time definitely screwed us all, but with more work and time you will make something really interesting! Best of lucks :3

This is my first Gdevelop Jam and ooo my goodness, what a challenge to make something in just 9 days haha :) I had planned more things to make it more juicy and balanced but I did not make it in time.
And yes the floating kittie hihi, well, I do know about this one and had it on the list for fixing, but it was like 20 minutes to the deadline and I was looking at my screen deciding if I should risk it to start fixing the code or not :) The day before deadline I was thinking to not even submit the game, but then got a few free hours from my job, so I tried to fix what I could haha :))
Again, it means a lot your encouragements and your feedback and I will keep it all in my mind by the next fixings/upgrades :)) And I will definitely play your game again once everything calms down and we will be not in rush :) Wishing you just the best in this JAM :)))
