Good idea. I would love to see the ability to tow several logs and get slowed down as I carry more. Also, I didn't see that I got more money for bigger logs. I liked the upgrades and instructions panels. All in all, a good idea and congrats on finishing :)

Cool concept, I think the mechanic worked well, just need to keep the player in the action more consistently I think as the rounds seemed relatively short and I didn’t feel like I could make much use of the power ups.

We settled on this concept fairly late, so unfortunately we ran out of time before we could give it some proper polish. Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback! Happy sailing! ⛵️

It's a bit rough but I liked the idea. The shanties are a nice addtion, it keeps us motivated (trapped :D ?) in the game! Nice job!

Thanks for the review and for playing our game! Happy sailing!

what a fun entry .. just somehow dreaded playing this for longer, I think I'd prefer to be in that boat endlessly once there? doing skill tree choices by driving too?

Yes, the game left players in turbulent waters in our first game jam but we learned a lot and enjoyed the journey! Happy sailing!

Well done on your game. And yeah you did have the theme, you have to "connect" to the logs. ;)

Getting community feedback is really great because when I was working on the game, I was never sure how the game would land. Thank you for taking the time to review our game and for reminding us that we really didn't drift too far from the Connections theme. :)
