First game released! I was wondering if I could get some feedback for it!

Hi guys!

I just published my first game ever, Zoegram, on web and android! I did not have any testers or the likes while developing, so I had to play hundreds of sessions on my own to try to improve the game in a way that I would like as a player. However, I think without more input from more people, I don't think I would be able to develop it more, so I'm posting it here in hopes of getting some valuable feedback from you guys!

I'd really appreciate any feedback on:

  • Tutorial -  do you think it is good enough? Does it teach you the basics? I used to have a 15+ steps tutorial, but it seemed way too long
  • Game Loop -  Do you find it engaging? Boring? How about the game time? Too short? Too long?
  • Anything else  UI/UX

I'm not too great at decorating things, so the page might be a bit bare. Sorry in advance! As a disclosure, I have used generative AI to generate the store Logo and some images (like the Shiba vector)!

Here is my page! https://rudwh2009.itch.io/zoegram

I would love any sort of feedback. Thank you so much!!

Huge congrats on your very first release! 🎉 Naming the game (and that adorable Shiba mascot) after your real-life dog, Zoe, is such a wholesome and awesome touch—I absolutely loved that detail! >

I read that you played 300-400 sessions all by yourself to polish the UI and gameplay. As a fellow solo dev, I felt that in my soul! Testing your own game until you're practically numb to it is the ultimate indie rite of passage. 😅 For a first game, the blue UI looks super clean and the word-rush mechanics feel very solid.

I also focus on creating casual web games under my studio, APS Games. I would be honored to do a feedback exchange with you. Whenever you catch a break, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on my page: [/s/186192/aps-games-exam-break-mega-bundle]

Give Zoe a treat from my side! Keep up the great work and enjoy your launch day!

it's actually pretty dope.  speed scrabble.  ai is whatever.  you could honestly prob do a good shiba yourself!  but it's cute and clean.  the tutorial is a little wordy just cuz everyone knows scrabble already!  i got genuinely a little confused when it had me drag T O Z cause what does that spell even?  but that was just a few seconds and then i was scrabbling.  would scrabble again.

like yeah i came here to give your thing a look and drop a link to my thing so you'll look that's reality but i do think you have a cool scrabble app here.  i'm looking for feedback on my weird ass narrative adventure rpg about forest animals who do pro wrestling so if that sounds like your dream game (obviously) go check it out please  grapplewood pre alpha first test vers
