Really polished visuals and art style, has a pleasant cutesy vibe to it. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but I haven't been able to reliably make whole 4-5 chain loops connect to each other (it could also be just me not spending enough time to actually figure out the whole mechanic). All in all, there's a huge potential for a neat game here!

fun idea. reminds me of good pizza great pizza. music is lacking. and a story too. also there’s bug. the loops won’t connect if i drop and pick up. they only connect when i drag directly from the box to the main loop. hope that made sense.

Developer

Yeah the detection is a little janky sometimes. Jiggling it around usually works but will need to look into the cause further. Thanks for playing!

Some snap highlighting for the drag and drop would have been helpful, I had to read the comments to figure out, how it works. The same goes for the customer, it was a lot trial and error to find the right place to give it to them. I liked the artstyle, some cozy music would have been nice though. Nice submission :)

Oh, this is a neat and simple game. From what I understand, if the beads match exactly what the customer wants, you can get away with using only 4 beads. Otherwise you need 5+ to keep the customer happy?

I also find that you seem to have to drag the keychains onto the customer’s eyes, dropping them on the nose doesn’t seem to work.

I am also guessing that the website is still a WIP. The art is very cute, I think adding some music would make the game even more charming and appealing. Nice entry!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yep that's basically the jist of it. Yeah I definitely noticed the detection is a little janky, but ran out of time to look into it :')

Really fun game 😄 Great job on finishing a full jam project. I liked the atmosphere and gameplay idea really fun art i love it. If you get time, I’d appreciate it if you checked out my game too

Developer

Thanks for playing! Checked out your game. The pushing and pulling is a cool concept!

So the game works in my browser now. The art style is really nice and cute with a nice PC laptop style interface which is really neat. Unfortunately, I ran into some issues as customers didn`t like my necklaces at all and then suddenly the whole screen turned red for some reason. I could still play the game, just with a red overlay on top lol

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking again! I have no idea where the red is coming from lol. Might be a bug with the fadeout when the day is over but that's not red. I'll look into it!

BTW, played your game. I got sent into the ether by the mace head thing and crashed from being out of bounds xd Fun physics!

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for playing! I didn`t intend to send you to the ether, I promise lol

I guess you can say it`s a feature not a bug at this point ha ha

Cute art style! Though maybe a better way to give the item to the customer would help.

Developer

Noted, thanks for playing!

Got it running on firefox, nice art style, and great readme style help, good job!

Sorry I got the following error message when trying to run the game.

Chrome. Don`t seem to have the same issues with other Godot games but not really sure of the cause.

Developer(+1)

That's so weird it runs better on Chrome for me.  I had to turn SharedArrayBuffer support on to make it work on Firefox. Looks like I have a lot more research to do about web builds in Godot. Thanks for letting me know!

No problem!

Really cute artstyle !

I like the cute art and README way of help suits the game as well.

For the main gameplay, I think the resolution showed only partial keychain maker app for me (and fullscreen mode wasn’t available, which might have made full viewport shown).. so wasn’t able to properly play that part.

Developer

Thanks for reviewing! Sorry you couldn't play it properly :( I think its probably because the game is at a static resolution. It's my first game jam so not too familiar with edge cases like this. I'll look into fixing it!

This is great, love the concept and the connection to the theme.

The art is super cute.

My only feedback would be to make it a little clearer on drag/drop when you are able to connect things (it took me a minute to figure out how to make any keychains), and maybe some music/sfx.

But other than that a really cool jam game, I loved the PC interface too.

Btw does the shop every actually open?

Developer

Thank you :) I'll have to think on it some more about how to make the game play more clear while staying on theme.
Unfortunately the shop is on permanent maintenance haha, I ran out of my allocated time.

BTW, your game is super cool! Very smooth movement.

it looks really cute! but I could only connect one chainlink/bead to the chain. I don't kno hy...

If you have the time, could you rate our game too, please?

Developer

Thanks for playing! You should be able to drag the beads to anywhere on the keychain besides the last bead but I think the detection is a little finicky sometimes. I'll have to look into it some more when I find some time.

Also, your game is very cute! ^^
