Absolutely TOP!! And I loooved the controls! The double and long and controlled jump was just a joy to use in the game play! I dream about such great controls to have in a game ;))) And the saving spots!! So that I do not have to start over and over again from the beginning :DD Hmmm, another dream to have in a game :))) Really, this game is so polished and balanced, I loved the graphics as well and the music too! And the fact that I could finish it was another bonus, great choice for this fast JAM, you should have by now more ratings!!! Sometimes it is strange how some games get so many ratings, and games like yours people do not discover on time. It is a pity, but I think your game has a great potential to be successful even after the JAM! The only thing that almost stopped me from giving it a try is that the introduction and the story is about ancient gods. As a christian and believer in one God, I could not identify myself with the player, neither to chase that type of a reward. But I did start the game, because I decided to rate everyone who left me a comment to give back, so I tried to not think about that. I think story wise I prefer more neutral topics, but everyone is different. Wishing you just the best in the JAM and after!! :))) I will come definitely back to study your controls :D

The Celtic mythology concept of climbing a cliff to retrieve Lugh's legendary spear gives this game such a cool and unique identity compared to other platformer

It felt good to play and i made it to the spear it was nice and intuitive, my only gripe is that arrow's hitboxes sometimes felt inconsistent sometimes i break multiple blocks with one sometimes i miss everything and have to time it with jumps, but it's not such a hinderance that the game is unplayable. Good work on this one!
Thanks for that. I must reduce the hitboxes on the gold blocks and the arrow to make it more accurate to shoot and get the high score of 950. Great feedback!

Of all the vertical platformers on Jam (and there are a lot of them), this one is the best so far. It's not too difficult, the graphics are nice and polished. The background loop is cool and the sounds are minimalist. I enjoyed playing.

Thank you for noticing the gold block sfx!! I love Gdevelop's particle effects system and had fun trialling different sounds for it.
Great game, I left my comments on it in the itch.io page, but since I am here I'll just say you did way better than a large amount of games published for the jam, and I genuinely had fun playing this ( unlike a lot of games from the jam ), so I am super glad you put in the effort to actually make an interesting video game- Good Job!
