Creative twist on the stacking block concept with swaying increasing as you get higher

Submitted (1 edit)

A very creative concept for a block stacking game. The higher you go the crazier the ship will sway and makes i block stacking much much harder in the long run. Very simple but insanely addictive, I really enjoyed this one! added to my collection to play again later :)

Developer

Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I just added an online leaderboard (and made some final improvements), so I'd love for you to give it another try ^^

Submitted

thank you for the heads up! I gave the game another shot and enjoyed the new leaderboards :D

Really cool concept, simple and functional. Got the base perfect so many times in a row and then went full stacking. Really fun!

Awesome submission, the perfect scope for a game jam. Simple and polished, and so satisfying when you land a crate perfectly. Nice work, keep making games!!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! As this was my very first game jam entry, it means a lot to me :) Also loved your submission btw!

Fun minigame!  Would love to see a leaderboard :)

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually just added a leaderboard, so you might want to check it out again :D

Well made game that was very fun!

reminds me of tower stack games for mobile, but i like the real life angle of it being connected to cargo ships!

very simple game with not much to it, but adds for a fun little game to casually pick up when i am bored.

I was skeptical once I realized what the game mechanic was... and then I played for about another 20 mins. This was fun!

fun game! love the trying to stack it in the wind element, getting more and more wavey at the top

Yay, 12000 Points on first try! I remember this game mechanic from somewhere ... High replayability value. Great entry!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! Maybe you mean City Bloxx, an old mobile game, at least that was my inspiration :D

Any game that has me playing it more than just once in a gamejam is just good fun!

Especially happy with this single prefect stack once the ship got very shaky.

Developer

Thanks for the compliment! \o/

Haha yes, I wanted to balance it more so the ship would'nt get shaky this quickly. But that also makes a perfect hit on already narrow containers more rewarding :D

You need to add a leaderbord ! I really liked it

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought about this, but a leaderboard would actually be really cool. I did some research and didn't even know I could implement a global online leaderboard. I'll definitely try it out (either for this game or future ones). Thanks for playing! :)

This reminds me of that old Nokia mobile game. Loved it. Brought back some memories.

Developer

I'm glad I could bring back some memories, that's a huge compliment to me!

Indeed, my game was inspired by an old nokia mobile game: City Bloxx, to be precise :D Maybe that's the one you had in mind. Thanks for playing ^^

Loved it, lol. Was bad at it, but that made it better, had a good time connecting two slivers, 😂

Developer(+1)

I actually thought about capping the minimum width of the containers, so you wouldn't have to land on paper-thin containers :D But I'm glad you had a good time, thanks for playing! :)

This is oddly addicting, hahaha. Love it.
