The dark atmospheric setting of LAZARUS is really striking — playing as The Convict, a member of the ALT-HUMAN species, gives the game such a unique and intriguing identity that makes you want to know more about the world. The cave environment creates a genuinely tense and immersive atmosphere that pulls you in from the start. The lore detail of ALT-HUMANS alone shows real worldbuilding effort that goes beyond what most jam games attempt. Looking forward to the post-jam update with mobile support — this concept definitely deserves to be expanded! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊

You shouldn't have used the word Minecraft. People don't like it when things are stolen. Even I used entirely public/common assets. Other than that, the game is great, but I didn't understand what kind of creature I'm playing as.

Heyy, Im glad you enjoyed the game, but just to clarify

I didn’t steal/plagiarize anything from Minecraft, it was merely a reference and or comparison to really give an example of the atmosphere of LAZARUS

Also the creature you play as is known as the Convict but is part of a sub-human species called ALT-HUMANS
