This definitely feels better to play with a controller, so thank you for including that. I would have loved the tutorial pop ups to have been tied to some sort of sign or floating box or something that the player can choose to read (or bonk) in order to reread the instructions. Having them pop up forcibly every single death was tiresome upon repeated attempts. As a lover of the Metroid Prime games, I also constantly was wishing I could roll faster! Perhaps some speed boosts or downhill segments to give the player the feeling of speed! All in all a good start of something, I love the little robot!

Interesting concept. There’s something here you can develop further, I feel. The puzzles need and game feel need to be tightened a bit.

Agree. After the voting closes I want to revisit this game , see if it can become something. Have some ideas, starting with improving the tutorial system. Thanks for taking the time to play and review.

The visuals are great almost reminds me of portal. The introduction took way too long to get to any sort of gameplay. Then after failing the challenge I had to sit through that again. Very interesting concept though.

I agree with the other comments. It's a fun concept and given more time will make a challenging platformer with an interesting twist. The mechanics are fun and clearly taught. The objectives make for a good challenge. I am reminded of some of the puzzles in Unraveled 2.

My only grip was having to wait for tutorial(s) to finish before I could move my character.

Really liked the atmosphere and visual style of the game! The concept feels interesting, and the gameplay has a nice tension to it. The only thing I’d mention is that the tutorial felt a bit too long on my side, but overall the project was enjoyable. Great work!

Thanks for having a look and play. I agree, the tutorials are a definite sticking point. When I get back to developing this further that is the first thing I will fix.

Well done, its all put together and it works! I love the gameplay that reminds of Sonic, and the graphic of Portal. The tutorial is a bit slow, but I understand its part of the script.

Thank you Jon. Yeah I needed to make the text delay very long so players can read, should polish it into snappier instructions or break it into smaller bits further apart. I did compromise by allowing the player to skip using the esc or cancel buttons but this is never mentioned in the game. Thanks for playing.

I think it would be fine for regular players. We devs often have hyperactive brains 😅 Your game told me: Calm down and read. Okay I'll calm down 🤣
