This is great! I appreciate that we both had a similar idea about how it kind of sucks to be a Battle Brother. The repetition accomplishes a lot here; it's one of the more stylistically sophisticated stories from the jam.

Had a good time with this. Some of the sentence structure early on was a bit clunky, but it still held its own-

-Unlike that Battle Brother, am I right?

A really solid action story, I wasn't sure about the reptation or the first person perspective at first but it didn't take long for it to suck me in. Fantastic work

A festival of hubris, I really enjoyed this one.

the repetition does a lot here. at first it feels almost arrogant, then it turns into dread, then it just keeps going until there is nothing heroic left in the room.  great work.

Really solid story. I really like how you flipped things round. Having the paragraphs getting shorter and shorter helped the action hit home, and the leads slow realisation of what was happening. Good stuff

I do appreciate whenever a B Bro gets his comeuppance but this seemed a little predictable. I liked how you described the difference in aesthetics between the two factions though.

That's a good one.

Really strong and intense story. I liked how the protagonist slowly realized he wasn’t invincible, and the repeated “Another bullet hit” made the fear and desperation feel very real. The ending was brutal and very fitting for the grimdark setting.
