Sorry, but I can't play your game under Linux, the nodes and the background are missing.

I assume you made it with Unreal Engine ; nearly all the games I tried that were made with Unreal Engine didn't want me to play with them.

I didn't rate it, of course.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try regardless. Making sure a Linux build is available is definitely a lesson learned for next time.

Nice idea, I thought of a hacking and cut connection game at first, but went with the switchboard because I am bad at designing puzzles ๐Ÿ˜… I liked your game, not sure if you can get away to easy if you shield the way to the core while severing all connctions and sit out the remaining rounds. The last level had to many core connections, so it got trickier, but I managed it. Nice submission, had fun ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you for playing my game and nicely done beating it! My aim for the first few levels was to introduce the mechanics slowly before a challenging last level. But yes you could sever the core away from the rest of the nodes and just sit it out. I did want to add something to prevent that, but ran out of time to work on it.

Very neat concept, well presented and executed.

Introducing one mechanic at a time works well to tutorialize without overwhelming the player with too much too soon. It does feel a bit easy, once all three abilities are unlocked, as the infected areas can quickly be nullified and cut off, long before the firewall countdown is complete.

It's also unclear if the shielded node can be attacked or not; I don't know if it's always an invincible bulwark or the means of losing the game if it's compromised. I played through assuming it was vulnerable and that protecting it was the win condition; however on the final level I realized I'd left it open to attack from one infected node, yet it wasn't targeted.

Thank you for the feedback and playing my game. I do agree I should have add more to clarify that.

Had to switch to my windows rig to play but this was really fun, had to play a few times to beat it and I like puzzle games so I enjoyed this.  Well done.

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my game! Next time I'll definitely make sure the game is more accessible.

This is one of the best submissions I've come across, but I couldn't access it through the itch.io app. I think getting a web build and enabling the build to show up would boost your visibility.

Thank you for playing my game! Sadly UE5 games are not really web build friendly, but I will look to see if there is a way.

Screenshots look cool!  I didn't play because I'm not running windows. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Thank you for taking a look at it anyways. I'll look into getting a Linux build uploaded.
