Nice puzzle game, well done.
HOLY, I'm impressed. I really like that your body blocks the laser. Mechanics are good. I did encounter a bug where the cube disintegrated after I dropped, but a restart fixed it. Only thing I would recommend is that the music doesn't get interrupted by a level finishing and that you add an indication to what which activation point activates :)
Really impressive build with a nice puzzle for the given time! For me, it is a bit hard to guess what the cube will do in the position you place it in, maybe there is a way to make it clearer. Perhaps you could allow it to be rotated while placed in the socket, or make the cube a bit transparent?
This was actually pretty dang neat! Impressive work in the given time! I sat there every level and was like "WAIT THERE IS ANOTHER ONE?"; Took me a moment to realize that the ceiling is also in play but I got there eventually. The player being able to interact with the laser really added a very nice element though without a tutorial during the first level I thought "red laser= bad, should not walk through it".
If you want to flesh out this demo further I think for some quality of life putting the blocks on perhaps the wall or a lower table (maybe an inventory type setting where one can scroll through the available picked up blocks) so one can see what connections can be made with which block would be neat.
Neat puzzle project! I could see how you can expand this idea even further with some more interesting levels and more complex puzzles. Great work!
I always liked puzzles like this in games. Good execution. I also liked that the player's body collided with the lasers and it affected the game.
I think it's a pretty cool idea. I didn't like the placement of the platform the initial box was placed on, it got in the way of me getting to the box holder. Also, I didn't like having to walk back each time to get another box., maybe have a box near each holder? I did like how the connections were made to bend the laser beam.
Thanks for the feedback. I will take these in consideration if I flesh this prototype into a more complete game.
Sure, thought it was a nice idea though. If you can review my game please do.
