The art is amazing! Such a fun idea.
I'm a little confused by the first two steps of Birdsong, they seem to undo each other. You remove a warrior and increase power, then remove a warrior and decrease power so by the end nothing has changed.
HAHAHA I really hope folks appreciate your awesome artwork, especially on the back with that hamster in his mean bean machine :P really awesome stuff eh!! And they look so fun to try
Thank you so much! Means a lot coming from you. The deadline snuck up on me quick, so I didn't have time to make the art anything too fancy, or get around to coloring it digitally, but I was pretty happy with it. I appreciate you checking it out!
Hopefully we get to see it coloured at some point :)
Really unique idea! The hamster machine seems like it can be devastating. If I understand correctly, the defender doesn't get to deal hits in "Thrash"?
You might need to reword your Draw Cards step in evening, since the additional card icons will be visible as long as the marker isn't on 2 or 4 (unless that was the intention?). I assumed you were going for something similar to other factions, where the further along you go, the more stuff you get.
Hey, thanks for checking it out! I didn't have time to do a lot on the balance side of things, so I would not be surprised if The Machine is a quite devastating. Defender does not deal hits in "Thrash!" but taking that action does use "Power". Hopefully, The Machine should be decently limited by power, making it costly to take actions like Thrash if you're also spending power to move.
As for cards in evening, the Law should be much more clear. I went through and condensed a lot of text on the board, that is further explained and expanded in the Law. You should draw an extra card per + to the left of the marker. Should be 1 extra card for every two power, I believe. If you have any other questions, the law is the first place to look, but don't hesitate to ask! Thanks again.
Correction: The Law is incorrect, as is the board. It should be an additional card per (card draw icon) to the left of the "Power" marker. The card draw icons should be one 1, and 3. Sorry for the mistake, it must've snuck through the cracks!
All good; thanks for the clarifications! Hope you're able to mess around with it more after the jam!
