Great game I really enjoyed it 😊

This game pretty okay.. Although There some things could improve this game.. Like for example 

Player move too faster 

Make slow down  the player speed.. to make it less annoyed to move and jump 

And maybe use coin for buying stuff for shop (  Like for example skin )

But besides that.. This is pretty fun  for this games jam.. So good job :)

Nice and simple, the controls on the movement and jumping are a bit up there but it's still responsive enough. Good entry very fun!

The controls are a little sensitive for trying to jump onto platforms, which is luckily a simple fix.

It's really fun to play, and i love how the music and background changes once you reach a certain height, it's those small details that i really enjoy seeing in games! :D I will say that sometimes it's a little difficult to properly land because of how fast you move and how little some parts are, mostly talking about the block platforms, and also the rough transition from a background to another could use a tiny bit of polishing but like i said those are really just details, for what the game is i would say it does a very good job with it!

Fairly balanced games and the gameplay gives a nice retro vibe.

"Really impressive for a first ever game jam entry! The retro pixel art and chiptune music give it a genuinely nostalgic feel, and the rising water mechanic with the visual indicator showing its speed is a clever and well-executed idea. The detail of the sky changing as you reach higher stages shows real thought went into the design. It's challenging but in a fun way that keeps you coming back to beat your own score. Really nice, enjoyed it! There were a few platform configurations which felt like you needed pixel-perfect jumps to do them the higher you got up. Definitely really challenging, with the tiny platforms and strict controls, but was fun. Missing any jump felt really punishing, and it was really hard to recover. Maybe making the water take one heart and bounce you back up, or just making the water keep up with the player more so it insta-kills them might work? I didn't really feel much pressure from the water, as it was usually way behind me. After the first area, you pretty much only have one option up. Maybe adding more platforms so you have different options would make it more interesting, and allow you to actually recover should you miss a jump? Overall, great game though, I really enjoyed it! If you do a post-jam update I'd be interested to see where you take this.

I think I remember you saying on Discord that this is your first game, right? If so, you did an excellent job. There are some things here and there I would change, such as the controls being tighter, and maybe some visual cues for the falling platforms, but overall this is a great start to a game. Congrats!

I loved the idea of the game and I got hooked and played till I got at least so high that I could be in the ranking hihi :) As people wrote here already, this has a lot of potential, just to fine tune the jumps and landing. Wishing you just the best in the JAM, it seems that you might end up in the TOP ;)

Really love the visual indicator showing how fast the water rises super clever! The pickups that lower the speed are a nice touch too. I found the character a tad too fast, but I still managed to get pretty far before plummeting to my doom. Overall, great game with tons of potential. Keep it up!
