The art direction in this game is just perfect — simple, elegant and absolutely beautiful. The concept of growing a tree upward as a narrative device is such a unique and thoughtful take on the theme that really stands out from everything else. The voice acting brings so much warmth and life to the story, and the music completes the cozy atmosphere perfectly. The narrative is clearly the heart of this project and it shows — redkoala64 called it the best narrative game in the jam and it's easy to see why. The story clearly has so much more to tell and I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing the full version after the jam! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊

Nice design . and game concept..i would have liked to see more. what happens when it grows beyond this champer.and maybe one can control water and light like compost.to decreese not just increase

On a funny note, I found one minor glitch where if you spam the water button, the droplets collide with each other and don't disappear. :D

But for the jam I had to scale it down and focus on at least having a proper beginning and an end ^^
Yea i can see noticed that you had a bigger plan than you currently have, i imagine the sapling be giant tree atop the cloud or even reach the space.
