Art style is really good!
I didn't know this was possible in Gdevelop. The 3D with the fast response time and the aesthetic. Loved it. Dial done the music and up the ship sounds and it will add to that alien arcade vibe. The ship was a little tricky to control but the guard rails were a help! Well done.
Good to see that nice racing games can be done on GDevelop. And 3D! Great job.
Thank you
A Wipeout-style space racing game in GDevelop is such an ambitious and unique choice for a jam — the minimalist style works really well and seeing the city underneath you as you race above it is a genuinely cool visual touch. The fact that you built working AI opponents using a method similar to GTA 5 pathfinding is seriously impressive for a 9 day project. More tracks would make this even more replayable — the core racing feel is already there. Really different entry that stands out from the crowd! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊
Thank you, and I'll also take a look at your game.
Very fun. I'd love to see more tracks to race on if you plan on doing more in the future.
Thanks, and I don't know yet if I'll make more tracks, maybe if enough people want to play it.
Different and interesting game :)
I remember wasting hours playing Wipeout on the Playstation 1 when I was young. This is a good attempt to do the same in GDevelop. There are some bugs that others have noticed, so I won't go into them because the idea of making Wipeout in a short time, which is not easy at all, is commendable.
Thank you for the nice comment
As a huge Wipeout fan this was awesome. I love the minimalist style and being able to see the city underneath you looks sweet.
Nice game but idk what it has to do with the theme and also how tf did you make those enemy's, that must been a hell to make XD
Thank you, and for that topic I thought I'd go to the top of the podium, and yes, the opponents were quite difficult to create. I basically used the same method as in GTA 5.
At one of the overpass the ship just fly through the wall and go down into nothingness.
Yes, I'm familiar with this error, but unfortunately I can't fix it. The error originates from gdevlop; if the spaceship is too close to the wall, the gravity no longer works correctly.
