A voting/matchup game in a jam full of platformers is a genuinely bold and different choice — Twisted By Art was right that it stands out from everything else here. Timpth summed it up well — the music really does make each matchup feel weighty and suspenseful, which is hard to pull off. The bizarre animal matchup concept that dany4240 mentioned is creative and I can see the vision. Adding animations of the animals actually fighting each other would make it so much more satisfying, and the newsflash idea you mentioned in the comments sounds like it would have been brilliant — hopefully something for a post-jam update! Industries Zero's point about Firebase is real, tackling live data in a jam is no small feat.

concept of bizarre animal matching is a good one. i would recommend adding arts (example, the animation of that animal) so it would be fun looking at them fighting each other. keep improving my dude!

Interesting take for picking which of your favorite things comes on top but i think it could have been a bit more engaging on the gameplay side.
This is true i wanted to collect reasonings from players and present them in newsflash kind of way as you play. I think this would have added lots but sadly was out of scope time wise and to my abilities.

I enjoyed playing this game, the match ups were interesting and unique. The music also created a suspenseful atmosphere which made the choices feel more impactful and significant. Nice submission!
