Neat to some physicist representation! The levels seemed fairly long, but that prolly had to do with there being no checkpoints. There were also some spots where the telegraphing wasn’t great (an unsure jump), but then other spots where it was really good (the hidden collectibles).
Good game but sometimes a little difficult to undestand which falls will kill the player and which won't. It would be good to have a checkpoint system so the player doesn't have to go all the way back to the beginning of the level. Good job!
Nice character controller! The jumps felt very satisfying. Agree with others that it was a little hard to read and understand where to go / how to move around the map. Maybe a wider camera or more checkpoints would have helped make this a little more polished. Cute story too!
I enjoyed this one!
The character switching mechanic is really fun and was definitely my favorite part of the game. Having two characters with different abilities creates some interesting situations, and I liked having to think about which one to use for each obstacle.
I especially enjoyed how one character focuses on strength and moving objects while the other can float with the umbrella. It gives each of them a clear role and makes the puzzles feel more engaging.
Once I understood how everything worked, I found myself wanting to keep progressing and see what the next challenges would be.
Great job, and congratulations on the submission!
Nice little platform with your mechanics in addition, but kind a bit hard to read and very punitive. A checkpoint would have been welcomed :D
Good job.
Good start to a game, but it was not always clear when you jump down if you land and live or if that is instant death haha. I made some mistakes, good jump height, felt good to control.
Yeah nice simple games. The different mechanics for the two players works really well.
After I figured out that I need to go to full screen the game became much better. Thanks for making the game.
Sorry yes fullscreen gives the best experience, Thank you for playing
There was a line in an old show where the lovers were "always together but forever apart".. both were only in human form at twilight and dawn. Otherwise the male would be a wolf at night and the female a hawk in the day. Your lovers reminded me of them.
Maybe lose the fruits and have more obstacles since the fruits weren't scoring? Interesting storyline. Well done!
Sounds interesting might look that up and watch it.
Thank you for playing.
Ah found it its called "Ladyhawke"
Yup, that's the one
I never felt like I could see quite enough of the world to make good platforming decisions. Camera felt a little close for me. Some neat ideas though, well done!
Noted thanks for playing
This was a fun platformer, the controls felt good and I liked the character switch mechanic to change abilities!
Thank you for playing, appreciate it.
The controls respond well and it’s enjoyable to move around the space. I didn’t fully understand what to do or what the fruit scattered around is for... but the story seems interesting and the theme fits the jam well! Well done!
Thank you for trying it out.
The fruit I was going to implement a scoring system but decided not to, I started kinda late and there was a little bug that took me a while to figure out so it didn't make but I left in the fruit. to break up the platforming a bit
