Hi, I’m part of a team of two looking for more people for this game jam! I’m a character artist / beginner 3D modeller, and my teammate is a 2D artist focusing on UI design and narrative for this project.

We’re both fairly new to game dev, but excited to learn and build something together. We’re making a 3D isometric psychological horror game with interconnected escape room style puzzles, inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

We already have a story direction and general gameplay idea, but we’re looking for help to really shape and improve the design. We’d especially love to find a programmer and a level designer. We’re also open to anyone interested in joining early and collaborating (sound, background art, 3d modelling, etc.)!

Edit: We have currently filled our programming and audio/sound design roles, but we're still looking for people interested in:

• Level & Puzzle Design

 • Environment Concept Art

The goal is for this to be a collaborative and fun project where everyone has equal input and we build it together as a team 💪

Our time zone is in GMT, but anyone is welcome ! If this sounds interesting, feel free to email/dm me at mks.talesofwhimsy@gmail.com /  hippptyhop (discord)

Hello. What engine are you planning to use?

Hey! We’ve mainly been practicing in Godot Engine, but if someone is more experienced or comfortable with another engine, we’re flexible 😊

Well, I work in Unity, but I don't think I have enough experience, so yeah — I probably wouldn't be a good fit.

No worries, thanks for getting back to me!

Good luck with your search ☘️

Hi there, this sounds super interesting! Just wondering, would you have need for a mocap actor at all?

Hey! Yeah, I think mocap could definitely be really useful, especially since we’re aiming for enemy movement similar to Little Nightmares and Reanimal. We don’t have the concepts fully set yet, but having someone who can help with creepy or unnatural movement would be awesome!

That’s a really cool vibe! I’d be happy to play around with some ideas and refine them once you’ve got a more solid concept. Let me know whenever you’re ready :)

Thank you for showing interest 🥺 really excited to explore ideas together once we’ve got things a bit more figured out! Feel free to add me on discord as well 🙌

Hi I'm a programmer in Unity/Unreal. Would it be possible to join ur tea

Hey! Yeah definitely possible , your Unity/Unreal experience could be really valuable for the project 🙌 If you have a Discord handle, feel free to drop it below/DM me — we’ll be inviting everyone to a server once it’s set up, probably tomorrow or Friday 👍

hey! i know its a bit late but are you still looking for members? I'm a sound designer/composer specialising in game and would love to build my portfolio while collaborating with people and your game sounds really interesting!

Hi, thanks for the interest! Our project has two sound designers/composers in the team so we're not actively looking for additional audio roles right now. I appreciate you reaching out though, and wish you luck with building your portfolio 🙌

Hi! Still Searching? I'm an audio artist and i can make OST & SFX!

(+1)

Hi! The audio side of the team is currently covered, but I appreciate the interest 🫶

Hi! Still looking for a programmer? I work in Godot engine, I wanna know more about the game you had in mind! Sent you a friend request on discord

Hiya! The programmer role is currently filled, but I really appreciate your interest in the project! At the moment we're primarily looking for people interested in level design, puzzle design, or environment art (2D or 3D), if that's something you'd be interested in - otherwise, best of luck with your projects!
