Nice and simple visuals game play was fun, the spawns where a bit all over the place and a bit more variety in enemies would be nice. Great effort.
Thank for the feedback, I do have to sort out the mobs and I will add some more that have a different patterns as well after voting ends am still learning the ropes so need to watch a couple more of tutorials.
A nice little game that suits the theme. Simple to play and somewhat addictive ("just once more"-feeling). As all these games (mine included) it may become repetitive without variation, so for any future development that's something to focus on. But all in all a great effort!
Thanks for the feedback. I do agree seeing the same thing again and again gets boring fast, hasnt happened to me yet as my top score is 9 lol But the plan is eventually add different levels and maybe have an incremental power up or similar to entice more game play. (your game brought back memories)
I liked the aesthetics. Simple color palette, saturated colors, the fading tail… nice. Two things that I thought were a bit annoying: 1) enemies sometimes spawning very close to where you are, 2) yellow dots basically spawning on top of you.
Congrats on making a game and submitting it in time. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback, still learning so will search for a tutorial to see how I can implement solutions after the voting finishes.
The fast-paced gameplay was enjoyable, especially the simple chase/escape loop between the blue, yellow, and red dots. It was fun to play in short bursts.
That said, I think it could benefit from a clearer overall objective, and adding different enemy types or varied movement patterns would make the gameplay more interesting and engaging over time. Still, nice work on the core idea!
Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to keep as simple as I could as I warned about the dangers of over scoping but once this is over I'll definitely start tweaking. As my first game without following step by step tutorial instructions, you've really given me "I can do this boost" :D
I love the visuals of the game. It felt a little to easy as if I never had to worry about failing.
Thank very much for the feedback. I'll try and find the golden difficulty ratio. It seems I am really bad at my own game as my highest score is 9 lol
