Love the art style and dialogues! The fusion of 2D and 3D is really well-done, and they blend well with the music and SFX, giving it an interesting and personal vibe.

The food collisions could be a bit more generous; several times I thought I got an item when in fact I wasn't close enough. I also didn't have much information about the worth of the different foods, it could be interesting to know the meaning of the color code.

And I'm also impressed by the size of the world for a game running in a browser, it's huge! I loved to take a walk - well, more of a rush with those damn dogs - and explore the setting. Good job!

This is adorable. I love the way you blend 2d and 3d visuals. And I love all the little raccoon lore details, like the words they use to describe things, it was very clever. The dogs were terrifying.

I really enjoyed it, and I didn't run into any issues. Great job!

I like the story line and the dialogue. Dog got me too, lol.

The dog snuck up on me and I actually scream out loud :D. The music did a good job of queuing it though. This whole game was really well put together from the story to the music and motion. Well done.

A tomato? A measly tomato? I am the chosen racoon. How about a freaking entire Birthday Cake?!? I need more racoon mythos, I was getting into it. A few more stealth mechanics to deal with the "Wardens" would've been nice, either a stealthy crawl, or a chew toy distraction, perhaps the humble cardboard box? But you guys already packed a lot in here in ten days, so I understand we have to be reasonable in the end.

So, it's climbing up to that guy to talk to him to begin the night, which is the actual game...

I get to hunt down some stuff (and I'm fairly sure I *did* find a tomato on the third round where I used that trampoline to get up to the rooftops for scavenging), but eventually I get discovered by one of the dogs and attacked.

I did try to hit back but all that LMB did was turn off and on the torch. not much damage to the dogs that I could see...

At some points I had some issues with heavy Z-fighting taking place (that mysteriously went away when I turned around and back) and some of the other racoons were standing sideways and when I turned a little bit suddenly they were showing their back side...

There is potential, but the game clearly left the oven far too early...

The dialogue is a fun addition and the rankings motivated me to play a little longer in an attempt to have my name there!

Nice game with lovely artwork.

This is a great game overall. How were you able to make it within the time limit ? the story is good, npc are pretty amazing including the dog. Art-style is really amazing, I love it. The game mechanics are smooth and parkoring feels nice. I love it.

It was VERY close lol which is why we had a few bugs at launch, but we got most of them fixed thankfully. In terms of how we got it all done, it was mix of solid communication between our team, careful asset pack use, and experience. We didn't really try to tackle anything new, just tried to create a polished, and silly experience that people would hopefully enjoy. Thanks for playing!

I really like this game! It sells the idea that you're a raccoon in raccoon city. I also like that sprinting lowers your head as you would if you were a raccoon. It could use some more sound effects, such as dogs barking or the cars on the street. This is a great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the kind words and for trying our game!  When I implemented the sprinting camera effects, I wasn't sure if I was wasting my time, thanks for the validation haha. We definitely had more sounds in mind and even some in the project we just didn't have time to hook up (cars). Such is the way of things in a jam I suppose.

The artistic direction on this game is excellent, the merge of 3d and 2d is very well executed and the global aesthetics are gorgeous ! Good continuation and have fun :D

Loved the art style and overall vibe of the game.

Loved the raccoon art!!

I got third place hahahaha...... This was my third try tho lol. I don't know how the game decides when to end round tho, I could have been getting more food.  Love the raccoon aesthetic. Great job.

I'm partial to these sneaky little dudes, so this game is right up my alley!  I think it's a great idea and I especially love the art. Wasn't sure exactly what the flashlight did or how to cast a spell, but I still had a lot of fun running around and scavenging around the neighborhood for my mangy pals. Excellent work.

Very unique art style and concept, I loved the creativity behind it. It could’ve used audio controls, and a little less camera bob would’ve made it more comfortable to play for me. Great job!

Lovely game. U guys did a great job!

Submitted(+1)

Wasn't sure as to how to use the flashlight. Tried using it on the dogs multiple times, but nothing! :V

Really digged the style here though, with the sprites as characters.

Developer(+1)

it's only really a flashlight haha - the later tools are more useful, The taser is what you need to chase off dogs :)

Thanks for playing!

It's me, Annonymous Raccoon 3!

The characters are very cute looking and the writing is fun, giving a sense of the world from their perspective.

Being able to explore the local area, scrounging for food is a fun idea.

I'm not sure how to actually use the flashlight effectively, so it's quite difficult to escape the wardens. If there's a indicator of the right direction to find the specific item then I missed it, which is totally possible. I found the tomato by chance, but the cat food eluded me after many attempts.

There's a small bug in that, when changing scenes, any audio which was playing will get stuck on a rapid repeat.

Developer(+1)

thanks for sharing this - you helped me realize I had a bug in my name lookup for my leaderboard. I was saving it correctly though so your legend shall be remembered!
