Funny character design, maybe shifting away from simultaneous mouse and arrow-key controls?

definitely solid as a base, i would maybe recommend changing the controls a bit if you work on it post jam since mouse controls and arrow keys at the same time never works that well, but otherwise good job
Yeah, I might tweak it.
The cute character design immediately gives the game a charming personality! The swaying text in the intro is a really nice polished touch that sets the tone well. The shoot-when-you-jump mechanic is a clever little detail that adds an extra layer of fun to the movement. Simple and fun concept that's easy to pick up and enjoy. With some more levels and expanded gameplay this could really grow into something special. Great effort for the jam! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊
