The concept of literally climbing the company ladder with a boss tap battle at the top is such a fun and clever take on the theme! The story, music and art style all come together really nicely. Really impressive for a first ever game jam entry — the mini game boss fight alone shows genuine creativity and design thinking. The animation glitch on itch.io is just an import issue that catches many first-timers, the gd.games version works perfectly so don't let it discourage you. Looking forward to seeing what you create next — great start! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊

Nice game! As others noted yes the idle animation was not working properly in itch, so I played the gd.games version and it worked fine.
The game is good and I find the mini games to be interesting. Good job!
thanks for playing the game, this was my first game jam and i probably made some mistake that made the caracter animation to bug when i exported the game to itch.io and it bugged. i am still trying to understand why so my next game jam this error doesn t happen again.(in gd.games the game is working fine). thanks once again. :)
Maybe the zip file you made accidently missed a sprite and this is the reason the itch version has that bug. Don't worry, if this is your first game jam, you did a really good job. Your game is far better than many other people's first game jams.

The concept is cool! As the previous comments mentioned, the asset inconsistency breaks the immersion a bit.
I would have loved more content and challenges before the boss.
Maybe the combat could also use some rework?

Unfortunately some assets do not load and it displays the GDevelop logo on purple square. It seems player's idle animation is missing for instance.

There’s a small bug, possibly because the character’s moving and idle sprites have different lengths.
But overall, I really like the story, music, and art style! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your future works！
