Cool concept! I think it could be a fun puzzle game with just a little more refinement.

Thematically fitting. The aim of the ship is an interesting one because it feels like trying to snap on stars, but further stars are very difficult to aim for.
Fun little puzzle.
This fits the theme pretty well! One small thing is that I think the rotation speed can be faster, so it'll quicker to connect the stars. I can definitely see more levels from this. Great work!
I have a few ideas to improve the rotation which would allow a faster turn speed. And tuning the slowdown depending on the distance, so it doesn't hit so hard if the star is nearby...
As it is, even with the slowdown when you have another star targeted, at some longer distances it's still a bit difficult not to overshoot...
Apparently I put this in the wrong place:
I like this. I think it could benefit from being able to play endlessly, by resetting the map.
This was a nice take on the theme! I like the idea of linking stars! I also like that you gave the stars a different shine when we are allowed to link them!
As feedback, I would say that it would be nice if the rocket sprite was placed above everything else (when the star glow happens, I can't see the rocket direction well).
I also wish that there was somewhat a map or a goal that would help me plan the links, instead of trial and error (maybe like 'you can link clusters' or 'stars of the same type' sort of ideas).
Other than that, it's a solid prototype for something bigger!
Keep it up! 💪😊
As for the ship being above other element, I should check the sprite ordering if anything managed to get on top of it...
I wanted to add some better indication where the ship aims towards but had some issue with that.
What's also missing is the progression where you've got a lot of fog from the nebula you stranded in at the start and the more connections you find the better the interference can be filtered out from your sensors to give a better view (and more constellations appearing).
Cool idea and very theme appropriate. Unfortunately, I got stuck on a point after connecting a bunch of other ones and it didn't seem like there was anything I could do. Altogether a neat game though.
This is a great game. It's an impressive achievement. Keep up the good work!
You got the systems in place and they worked well so respect due there. Slightly tighter controls and a couple more levels would have been great. Left me wanting more which has got to be a good thing :)
Definitely needs more levels. Maybe even based on real life constellations.
This was a great game. The way you handled navigating and linking stars together was clever. I'm not sure I quite figured out the signaling completely though. I figure out red = connection, but then those stars wouldn't always connect. So I'm not sure what other piece I was missing.
Great game! I had a lot of fun and even ended up playing it a second time. However, I have to admit, I won but I’m still not entirely sure why, even though I read the introduction :)
The snapping to the stars is a good mechanic, but it gets a bit difficult if you have to cross 5 stars that you don't want to target. A solution I can think of: as long as you hold down the A/S keys, snapping is disabled. After releasing A/S, it triggers the snapping function.
The music fits beautifully and it's a very polished overall experience! Great job!
I am a bit confused about which star I should connect or not, but the game is fun, love the graphics and music!
You really polished this game extremely well. Everything fits together nicely and sounds great. I think changing the controls would be great for the gameplay. Mouse to point and click would feel better with aiming your ship to the node you want to travel to.
Overall great game and great work on a polished game. I wish you the best on your game dev journey you clearly have a bright future in making games.
