Very cool! I really liked the idea of player restarting the game. Animations are also very cool. Very solid entry, deserves more attention that's for sure.

This game is very impressive (made in 18 hours wow!). The gameplay is solid, the theme is there and well represented, and the art is also very good. The only problem I can point out is a general lack of polish, but again, if it was made in only 18 hours, I can accept it!

P.S. I would suggest adding a web build for your next jam entry; otherwise, people won’t play your game, and that would be a real shame!
18 hours of my dev time. Artist took a lot longer for sure.
Great work! I liked a lot the gameplay and movement mechanics, and the art and music fits really well. I've found a way to cheese the encounter at the end, but I won't tell anything, people needs to find their victory themselves hehe.

For the context of this jam, this game feels almost perfect honestly.
The creativity and the fake AI player almost quitting in the menu, then restarting was awesome, it genuinely caught me off guard and added a personality to the game that matches exactly with the theme.
You did a great job here, I only have compliments, amazing work.
Really enjoyed this game, most fun I've played from this jam so far (still half way to go). Honestly don't have anything bad to say. I'm not sure if you created the music but it honestly made the experience so much better.
Edit: Just have to say this game deserves way more votes and I also preferred the old name "Ciela the Spider" as it gave the boss more of a personality which I really liked and it fits really well with the title screen theme.
