Cute concept with a grappling hook mechanic. To improve playability post-jam, tying the score and procedural generation to continuous player movement rather than just jumping would fix the pacing and keep the action moving. Adding a simple progression loop for the collected coins would make for a nice future update.

I had never tried making a game with procedural generation before. I spent most of my time just trying to get it working and make it at least playable. I managed to learn quite a few things in just a few days, but as you and some other people pointed out, the need to keep jumping in order to generate the rest of the level didn't turn out very well.

I'm not sure if I'll continue making this kind of "infinite" game. I mainly did it for the experience, and I think planning and implementing different stages is much more fun to develop.

I was going to add an upgrade mechanic for each cat collected, but I ran out of time. I spent so much brainpower trying to make those hook points and platforms spawn correctly, hahaha.

Thank you very much for giving it a chance! 😊

The game needs some improvements to be more "playable," such as: better physics, something to buy with the coins we collect, and a story to tell us why we're playing it. Aside from those factors, I liked the concept

If you have time, could you try my game too? It was made entirely on mobile by one person

Yes, i lost so much time trying to make the procedural gen mechanic and this was terrible hahahaha

Thanks for playing

I liked it! One thing that could be improved is that the procedural generation only seems to happen when the player jumps, and the score also only increases when jumping. It would be nice to add something that encourages the player to keep moving quickly, since right now there’s no punishment for standing still.

But overall, your game is good. :)
