You win my heart in originality and Innovation! It's also very fit to the theme! Just need some tweak for a game balance
oh yea for sure needs a lot of fixing, in 9 days i did what i could
looks like bad piggies
cool concept
also thanks for rating my game :)
thanks and your welcome!
This is a really nice game. It’s simple, but there’s a fair amount of strategy to what you make a priority at any given time. I also like the feedback on how you’re doing: I definitely spotted the paddle wheels turning backwards and clouds in the background indicating that I was beginning to drop at one point! The only quibbles I have are very minor things to do with the execution. I found it harder to pick up tools than ideal (I’d like them to be grababble within a slightly wider area, and I like the suggestion someone else made of having an outline appear when within range). I also felt as though there were slightly too many asteroids: I’d like to be frantically switching tools all the time, but ended up primarily using the hammer and then just tending to the chickens/rockets whenever I’d managed to fix all the damage.
Full 25 stars from me, this was brilliant! :DD I loved the non violence and the relaxing attitudes :D It took me a moment to figure out how to move around and on the letter, but then I was just running around to feed the chickens, repairing the Amish spaceship and running the coil :D I got maybe to the 2/3 of the journey when everything started falling apart again haha Unfortunately I do not have time to finish it now, but might be back just for the fun after the JAM :) But I left you a rating, and I am wondering how did you get to this idea of a game :))) Really cool :)))
The concept is really fresh and I'd love to see more of it. However, it's sometimes hard to remember which tool does which so I think that a tutorial button on a side of the screen that we could pop out when needed would be cool. Also managing a rocket barn with my friends would be super cool so I hope you introduce multiplayer soon! That would also make the game more fun.
multiplayer is the eventual plan when ever i get around to finishing the game XD
but lots of balancing required for now
Really love the idea—it’s amazing and original. The game needs a few tweaks:
1-Show an outline when colliding with a tool (sometimes I have to move slightly to pick one up).
2-Equipping time should be instant. Getting hit by an asteroid while taking out or putting away the hammer feels super slow.
4-Allow tools to be thrown to pick up another one (adding physics would make this more fun imagine a hammer flying around as you try to grab it). You could also add a player health bar, rewarding careful tool storage since tools would damage the player on collision.
5-Make a single ladder or fix the top one’s placement it’s hard to get the right angle to climb.
Overall, the game plays very well and I enjoyed it.
I love all of your suggestions, noting them down thanks
for 4- I had a little trouble with physics in the game but I will do some tests
5- I had 1 ladder at the start and then was moving them around because of the limited space, but I guess ill bring back the single ladder
A rocket built in a barn and powered by coal and chickens is the most uniquely hilarious concept I've encountered in this entire jam — and the gameplay actually delivers on that chaotic energy! The cute art style is completely deceiving because the game is genuinely challenging — those asteroids are no joke! The resource management of running up and down to grab tools while dodging everything adds a fantastic layer of frantic fun. And the chicken vs horse decision? Definitely the right call. Well polished, well balanced and one of the most original entries here — great work! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊
One of the most original games on Jam. Everything looks cute and sweet and that can be deceiving because the game is challenging. Very good job.
I loved the idea for this game!
A rocket that runs on coal and chickens 😂
Had a lot of fun with this one 👍
That's a funny little game!
thank you i tried
