Nice game! Reminds me a lot of World of Goo, though with only slightly less annoying tower building. The puzzles are genuinely challenging, and it's good to see the attention paid to tying it all together with a story.
What an awesome innovative submission. Unfortunately the bridge buildling scene was the end for me as there was no connection point availalbe at the right hand side. I think it has to do with my resolution. (3840x1600).
But this was really enjoyable. Good work!
Nice game with an interesting mechanic. On the first level with the balloons, my bridge floated upward off screen after I attached a balloon, and I really wished there was a way to scroll the view upward. That level also felt a bit too wide compared to the previous one, so the difficulty spike caught me a little off guard.
Having to fully restart because the bridge drifted off screen felt a little too punishing. Under normal circumstances I probably would have kept trying, but since I still have a lot of other jam games left to rate, I ended up stopping there.
Still, this was a really nice submission!
The game design and graphics are good. However I wasn't able to get past the third level. I tied multiple times. Maybe some more tutorial or difficulty adjustment is needed in the starting levels. However I loved the concept.
I think I would have enjoyed the game but i can't get past the first balloon level am I missing something because every time i place a balloon it moves the entire structure with so much force upwards and out of view then it crashes down on the opposite side (rotating around the unmoveable pivot)
Loved the art and music tho!
Nice game! I made it to the level with the balloons but gave up on that one. 😅
Good graphics and music!
This is one of the most polished games I've played so far. Even better it was a lot of fun and had a good story. Well done!
I love anything that reminds me of the long gone Flash era and this entry is no different! Loved the bridge constructor mechanic and it even reminded me of Elefunk, which probably two people in the comments will remember lol well done on this entry, it was fun!
I loved the bridgebuilder series back in the day, so this totally hit my vibe. Great game, but those little buggers drove me crazy in the first ballon level, because the damn bridge wouldn't stop moving 😂 one of the best games of the jam so far, good job!
We kind of missed if there was a tutorial for the rope? We completed the game without it and even got 3 stars in the final level 🦾
When infrastructure project had gone over budget and overtime but in too deep to scrap. (Great game!)
Wow, awesome game, I have almost all Bridge Constructor games and have done them fully, so this is very tasty for me. Love your engine choice, the game is beautiful and very fun. Congrats!
Insanely polished and charming puzzle game. The physics is surprisingly very consistent, I only managed to make it freak out when the balloon did such a good job that it lifted my bridge and folded it back into the starting area as illustrated above, it such a funny moment so I don't count it as a negative. It's a pleasant game to play from starting to end, can't really go wrong if you're craving for puzzle games :D
It's fun how chaotic the physics can get. This was really fun
That's right, it's me, the over-builder.
I don't know anything about building bridges, in or out of games, so I trust that all the three star goals are very achievable for others. I was happy enough to get to the top. I mean... to make a connection.
Having the little guys clambering all over the framework while it was being constructed made things a bit more difficult than they needed to be, I'm sure that was the point of doing it that way. I'm guessing it was quite a bit of work to get the physics to behave how you wanted.
The addition of balloons and anchors in later levels did give a sense of keeping things fresh and interesting. I'm not totally sure they were needed, though. I threw some in for the sake of it, they probably made things easier. Actually, I thought the anchor was a grappling hook the first time I saw it, and tossed all my work off a cliff.
The art's very nicely done, both in and out of cutscenes. The music is nicely chill, a bit repetitive since it's looped through from the tutorial to the end. The sound effects are a bit sparse, but I'm not really sure where you'd use them outside of the places they were included (though the entering tent noise does get interrupted by more and more climbers barrelling in at nearly the same time.)
[Edit] - I forgot to mention, you have a typo on your page. "Stroy" instead of Story
