I'm the developer of Rule34X, a free and ad-free NSFW viewer that lets you explore and download content from Rule34.xxx — with a smooth interface, favorites, TikTok-style mode, dark theme, and more.

hi! despite entering the tags i dont have any results with 0.5 apk.no images come up.retry search doesn't work too

Hi! 👋 Thanks for reporting this. The issue happens on some devices because Rule34.xxx may fail to load.
We’ve just released a new version (v0.0.6) that adds the option to use rule34.paheal.net as an alternative source.

Searching for posts from rule34.xxx still doesn't work, is it safe to assume that this app is just incapable of accessing posts from that site?

As for a suggestion, you could expand the app to search for content from other booru style websites like Gelbooru, e621 etc

Try version v0.0.8; we've added a selector to the welcome screen where you can choose between rule34xxx and rule34 paheal. Let us know if it works for you.

current issue is .xxx doesn't work despite having previously for the longest time.

You're right, rule34.xxx has recently made several changes to its platform, altering various aspects of its layout. I will be working on adapting it to these new updates. For now, I will set Paheal as the default option and leave rule34.xxx as secondary and experimental.

I actually applied a fix for this — it's still a bit experimental, so I'd love to hear if it works on your end. The issue was likely caused by changes in how Rule34.xxx structures their pages, which affected the image extraction.

There's also a new version available (v0.0.9) with a lot of improvements — you can grab it from the Itch.io page. If the issue persists after updating, please let me know and I'll look into it right away.

I got 2 things to say. Really good. But i don't like the low resolution. If possible please make it load at its best resolution. And exporting dosen't work as expected. Other then that this is really good!
