This is a simple concept, well implemented. I think the thing that really made it for me was appropriate usage of sound, music and animation that just made everything fit together really well.

This is a really cool incremental, I like how you went beyond simply making a clicker and had the player actually interact with the world while "feeding the beast". Addictive for sure, and if you wanted to expand on this game I think it would be cool to create different human types that give certain amounts of points or new abilities, and/or maybe adding something else you can do with the humans beside feeding them to the beast. Overall nice work :)

Poor tourists. I had fun feeding them to the beast 😄It would have been nice to visually see what my points/currency was, as well as the cost for the upgrades available to me

I'm frickin' stupid. I didn't set the game to auto size in itch. It's been a hot minute since I did a jam... My bad!

Like BENGAR I did not really understood what I was doing, but just randomly throwing a person by the bridge and discovering that there was a beast under there was really funny ^^

Developer(+1)

Yeah, that was my bad for not spending a little time on UX design. It's tough when you only have 3 hours!

Developer

I have only just now realized I also had the auto size turned off. My bad

Ooooh that explains so much! It's a whole new game haha xD Thank you for telling me! I understand way better, and the controls are much more intuitive ;) Tho I kinda liked the cropped screen that was hidding the monster, I was only seeing the particles and I liked the atmosphere it created haha :P

Ok so not 100% sure what I was doing. Was there a number displayed somewhere that showed my currency?

Was fun throwing the peeps down the hole but other than that I was unsure what to do.

A Button came up saying "Button" and I assume that's game over or win?

I like the idea of the game but for me it was unclear and a little too bright 💚

Developer

Yeah, the points are the currency. Probably should have changed the verbiage. I definitely tried to bite off more than I could chew and the rest of the game suffered for it, but I'll go back later and get it closer to my vision like I did the last TriJam I joined. Lots of little things my sleep deprived brain couldn't remember. lol. I agree though I need to make things clearer and less bright

Where is the points displayed? I don't see them.

I'm stupid and didn't set itch to auto size to it cut everything off. I wondered why I could see it in my browser test but no one saw it in itch. My bad. I fixed it (I think)
