Can't get the game to load

I have a few mods; GOF, ERAS and now New Horizons. I have no issue with the former, but when creating a shortcut with correct exe and target, the game attempts to load and gives: "Could not create Program. Check ini file or program scripts.

In the error log I see the following:

COMPILE ERROR - file: sea_ai\sea.c; line: 2048

I copied over the DX9-64BIT files into Mod directory which allowed me to run Config.exe. Not much came from that. Not sure if I need a different version of Maelstrom.

Turns out Horizons requires the latest Maelstrom engine. Not that it matters. This game plays like garbage compared to GOF/ERAS.

Yeah, Mirsaneli did all the porting of NH and during the process he did ask for a few engine changes to support some script changes he wanted.  This may have been one of them, so it would need a Maelstrom version from the same time as his script changes.
