I thought of locking in as locking onto targets (e.g with rockets in military games). I therefore made a magic wand that shoots stars which lock onto bigger stars and home towards them.
Cookies eaten

Very creative gameplay! It was fun, a little uncontrollable, but still fun! Good work!
Really fun, and the music is absolutely perfect. I found the hidden path in the second room. :)
I REAAALLYYY Love the physics mechanic of the stars, its so fun to mess around launching yourself like that jsjs, I couldnt figure out where to go in the 4th screen tho, but I manage to get the secret ending! I had lots of fun with this one, great job!!
holy crap the physics and momentum in this game are insane. its a lot of fun if not wildly tricky. i tried to beat it but failed to my own skill issues with the red stars. but really great job, this was a lot of fun!
Unlike so many platformers, this mechanic feels really unique and fresh to me, not to mention pretty darn intuitive. I had a lot of fun, even with my horrible skill issue! Great work!
Completed the game but got stuck on my way to the secret ending. The game was fun but the pink stars where a little finicky at time. Other than that it has a nice atmosphere.
The gravity scale makes the game really tricky, yet no one can resist such skill-based gameplay. Well done!
