Use of the limitation
We wonder in a house that we can't escape from (we are locked in it). We activate (lock_in) certain rooms by lighting a candle. Those rooms don't disappear. You have to be locked_in, because paying attention is key in this puzzle game.

An amazing puzzle game! Truly unique, I can't say I've played a puzzle rogue-like before, and certainly not one like this! Terrifically fun and properly spooky.

What an interesting game! I love how the room is randomly generated each time I try to play again, and it really impresses me. The game's background music also fits the game perfectly.

Wow, very nice. Good graphics, good atmosphere, very nice game mechanics. I exorcised the house! I am not really fan of horror games but I really liked this one.

It was so fun figuring out the puzzles and the lack of text or hints, aside from the death messages, made it very exciting whenever I understood how something worked.

Your game is my favourite this jam. Could be better than "12 minutes" on steam.

It was really interesting to figure out how this game works through trial and error.
You had to stay focused so you wouldn't miss any event when entering a new room!
I really enjoyed playing it :D

Great job!

Thank you. I checked your game. Honestly I don't undertand how it's possible to do so much stuff in just 7 days. I feel lazy in comparison.

Relax, our game was made by three people with plenty of free time that week, so it’s not really a fair comparison. Besides, I think your game concept turned out more interesting

So so cool, no clue at all what to do with a candle that is already lit but such a cool concept and well executed. big up

Developer

Agreed, some stuff is unintuitive. Will do better next time

stuck? i tried like every door lmao.

Anyways, it is so addictive because you get the hang of things so easily! Nice!

Yes, I couldn't spend more time on the generation of rooms, so this shit could happen. I know it's not obvious that you can turn the light off and reenter the room, but that's something atleast.

Loved the creepy vibe! The puzzles were challenging, but it felt so satisfying to clear them all. Awesome job for the jam!

Developer

Ohhh, thanks. Anything you want to be done better/differently?

Actually a really fun game, had a lot of fun figuring out all the rules to not get tricked! The music did get a bit loud in the end though, but other than that its a great submission.

Reeeee, I thought I used an equalizer correctly, even set music to 50%. I'm so sorry dude.
