a tri-fold pulp comic pastiche is such a choice approach for a fist mission (though i'm stuck with letter size, unfortunately). beautiful illustrations! the scenario feels classic and the details are evocative, though it gets a little dense on the layout for the second page. i like the threat table and the various ways things can turn, and pulling the twist out into an optional module is a smart move. that said, i think you could use a proofreading pass here, and i feel like it could run really, really fast at the table, but i do like missions that leave room for PCs to talk to randos and make bad decisions. i think this would be great fun for the noir lovers.
Awesome mission dripping with 60s style! Love a trifold too :)
This is a insanely pretty trifold, makes me wish for more pages to see more art but it is packed so well and nicely in the trifold size. Stellar work here, also adore the ability to randomize the threat.
I caught a slight typo under the CONTACT section under REVENGE: "Inside the bag is a small bomb" (was samll)
Awesome work and amazing artwork!
Thanks for spotting the typo! Will be corrected in the next update.
I couldn't choose in time which threat to go for, so i just made everything random, except a paranoia option (no actual threat) that dind't fit onto it.
damn that's pretty. can't state enough how attractive this pamphlet is.
We've got a nice little setup mission with a very fun way to randomize exactly what the threat to ms vienne.
a couple moments in here that have little DC skill checks, some of which work better than others.
This is balanced out by having nice clearly defined motivations for key players in the different threat setups that could help with more off-the-cuff riffing. Strong presentation here
Very cool stuff! Wrings every bit of style, tension and gameplay potential out of a relatively compact and low stakes setup. The comic art is fantastic and I love how well you incorporate the multiple threat options. Seems like a perfect way to introduce newcomers to the system.
Thanks! I hope it works well for new players, as it was my first introduction to writing for the FIST system.
Seriously cool!
Beautiful layout and a really nicely executed idea!
Very well done, I like the art and the adventure is a well thought introduction to FIST game mechanics.
Dripping with punch and style this tight one-pager packs loads into a short red-carpet walk.
