Hello!

I'm a writer looking for a small team to create a project. I've always loved video games and telling stories. I've been wanting to develop a game for a long time now, and I've finally taken a step toward that goal and decided to look for a team to create a shared project.

I love cozy games with interesting and charming characters that feel human and warm. I'm also really passionate about stories that make you feel happy and put a smile on your face. And that's the kind of game I want to create. I have lots of ideas in mind, but I'd like to find a small team that shares my vision of the kind of game we want to create.

I'm aiming for a small visual novel, since it would be the first time we'll be working as a team, and I think this kind of project would be perfect for getting to know each other, our likes and dislikes about games, our working pace, and so on.

I have no previous experience writing games, but I've written a lot of novels and one-shots. I'm really excited to be able to share my writing with others and give others the opportunity to share their art and skills in game development.

Also, I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, so people who speak either of these languages are more than welcome to join the team.

If you're interested, please leave a message below or add me on Discord: brookstore (I'll reply as soon as possible and share some of my ideas as well <3).

Also, since this is a small project, I'm not planning on working with a strict deadline. I have lots of free time at the moment, but I also understand that some people are working and have other responsibilities, so I don't want to put any pressure on anyone. Just treat this as a hobby and a project that's supposed to be fun and relaxing (like the game I'd like to create), rather than a duty or an extra responsibility.

Hello!

I've programmed a simple visual novel before in Unity, and I have experience with 2D art and composing soundtrack music.

I really love seeing other people's stories and have been wanting to help bring one to life.

Are you willing to pay?

Hello!

Thanks for showing interest in the project; I really appreciate it. Since this is a hobby project rather than a professional one, there will not be any payment involved at the moment. ^^

That's alr lol
I also like to just make games for fun

If you want, I can still make you some free 2D art for the project

That would be amazing! Thank you so much. You can text me through discord to talk about it ^^

Ren'Py is probably the game engine you're looking for building your visual novel. I personally build  2D games from a programming language and have no experience with Ren'Py but this engine will certainly save you a lot of time building your game.
