so 3 of my classmates and i are doing this game jam together and our game is gonna be over 1g how do we submit it to you and or get access to submit more then 1g on itch?

Browser games, tiny downloads, immediate play, and short runtimes have a massive advantage in getting ratings.

I can tell you from experience: nobody will play it.

I would try to find a way to compress the game - there shouldn’t be a reason that it’s 1GB over just 1 week (did you use Unreal?!?). I would still play it, but PepperSanders is correct that you won’t get many other ratings. This is fine, as I will still give you feedback and treat your game fairly, but it is something to be aware of. One thing you can do is to link it in github for the full version and release something partial on itch. But why is it so big?!?

yeah i got nervous and looked up how to compress it, i just never used as many assets as we did for the scene and got nervous lol first game for all of us so my bad, the first test and build was at 148mb with most of the map filled out so we will be fine
