Sawed off studio left excellent feedback that I won’t repeat, though I am not certain it is as polished, since I didn’t know what I was doing either. 😅 The game looked pretty though! I can tell you invested time (no pun intended) into it. It’s always a good idea to allocate some time into watching someone else play your game without telling them anything about it - this will give you insight into what you need to polish up before officially launching it. Granted, this is difficult in the scope of a week, but still worth trying to schedule. Thank you for your entry - I look forward to you submitting more games in the future!
I REALLY want to love this one. But I have no clue what I'm doing...
Polish/Completeness
Polish alone, I feel like this is an easy 5.
I love the text animations, colours, SFX, background animations, and card animations. This is oozing indie style, and I love it.
5/5
Creativity
I'm having trouble figuring out the game.
But from what I can tell, there is no attempt at using the "ruin" or "a button that changes purpose" prompts. So I can't give you points there. Maybe I'm missing something because I want to give you more points...

Fun/Engagement
This is the toughest for me. The game feel is there. The polish is there.
I tried spamming the "skip-play" button for a while to see if I could just lose the game and get more insight. But nothing happened. I try matching cards, and I run out of cards and have to just "skip-play" again. I try holding onto cards to see if I can make a pair, and they just disappear.

Overall
I've tried twice, and both times, I feel like I'm missing something, and if I am, I'm sorry.
But this one I could just not enjoy...
Meanwhile, the juice and polish, I'm envious of. If you have any resources, I'm all ears! And if I'm missing something obvious, please let me know. This one feels really bittersweet.
thx well i shold've added a tutorial to make player understand what they are doing and what the goal is
I understand making a game in a week is hard! Let alone a tutorial.
Even adding a description on the itch page would help.
I'd be happy to give this another try if I'm clearly missing something. As I said, I love the aesthetic!
