In Folke, all Heroes are human.
Anything that isn't human is fey.
Inspired by the fairy tales of Gaelic folklore, Folke is a rules-light OSR-style RPG about strange bargains, dangerous magic, and the things that lurk just beyond the firelight. Magic is powerful, but every spell costs Vitality—the same resource that keeps you alive. Lose it all and choose between a Coward's Life or a Hero's Death, going out in a final legendary act.
The rules are quick to learn, character creation takes only a few minutes, and a complete adventure can be played in a single evening. Inside you'll find everything you need to play, including the rulebook, character sheets, and Folke's unique combat sleeve, which unfolds into the battle map itself.
