  • How do you move the camera?
You can use either the left and right arrows, or you can move the cursor while pressing the middle mouse cursor.
  • How do you move the Keeper?
Just double click where you want to go!
  • How do you heal Monster Girls when they are sick?
You need to give them the Lavender Sap, the last item on the shop. I'll make this clearer for next time!
  • I have a black screen instead of the game being transparent.
This has helped other people with other desktop games:
    1. Right click the .exe
    2. Properties
    3. Compatibility.
    4. Check Disable Fullscreen Optimizations.
    5. Run the game.
  • Where can I find the +18 patch?

Any way to change the language? It's using my default OS's language, but I'd prefer to use English. Thanks in advance!

Developer

Ah! I'll include a language option for next update, right now the game just auto detects the system's language. Sorry about that!

No worries! Thanks for answering and sorry for the late reply!

What is the "hand under briefcase" desire supposed to be?

Developer

Sorry about that! That was supposed to be to give her a treat, but yeah it's a bit hard to understand. I think I'll draw a mouth or something like that for that icon.

mouth might be misinterpreted as a generic "feed me"

Developer

Maybe a candy icon? And change a bit the treat sprite.

I think a candy icon would work, yeah.

It's nice that it's here but I think the controls should be a simple text file in the folder and not here where most would probably not look or is simply missing from the more info part of the game page. I do hope you include a controls option because it took me a while to figure out some of these things and the double click does not work. And clicking on the girls only moves them physically rather than interacting with you directly. I hope you update it so that clicking them once brings up the option to do things with them and right clicking them once then clicking on them would drag and drop that way it's less of a mess trying to interact with them.

Developer

You are right Scott, I'll do that, thanks for the feedback.

One click should only show the action menu, and long clicking, grabs the Monster girl to move around. Are you playing on Linux by any chance? That's a bug I'm hoping to fix for next update, it's a bit of a mess since I can't fully fix myself since I work on Windows, I need a friend that has Linux (we fixed a bunch of stuff for that, but not everything), but it will be fixed.

I am not a Linux user sadly. I too am a slave to the Windows operating System... though the OS I use is AtlasOS since it's much more cleaner than vanilla Windows. But if it is an option on your end or you just find a Chromebook to turn into a Linux operating system (they're dirt cheap to get second hand in some places), you can create a Virtual Machine to test Linux. In the Discord Feedback channel I've made a longer set of comments regarding feedback toward the game. It was... rough getting the game started and gaining my footing. But I did enjoy some of it as time went on as an idle game. I think with the feedback I'm sure it'll only get better as time goes on.

I'll be sure to check the Discord page Scott, thanks for writing your thoughts. For sure, as time goes on, these rough experiences will be solved, sorry you had to deal with this.

I've been researching your issue with the mouse, and I might have found the problem:
At the moment, the way I track how long the button has been pressed is based on FPS instead of time (delta), so in theory if you are running at higher FPS, the timer required to grab the Monster Girl is met faster. I'm gonna test with my friend later tonight, since he was having this problem (only in Linux, strangely enough, that's why I asked), and see if it is fixed.

if everything goes well, I'll release a hotfix tonight with a bunch of fixes and some of the features mentioned in previous devlogs (camera, etc). Sorry again, and I appreciate your patience Scott.

That is some good news to hear. I appreciate that you're getting it looked into and as I'm sure with all good feedback it'll only make the game even better. Did not know this issue could be tied to FPS... it would explain why I had such difficulty. Hopefully going forward it'll just be locked to 30 or less that way it's less hard on the hardware. I noticed it really ate up a lot of frames. Best of luck to getting it resolved.

I didn't have time to include a Controls section in the menus for this hotfix, but my friend confirmed me that the pressing a Monster bug that was happening to him (very, very similar to yours), is fixed now. If you try the new version one of these days, I hope it's fixed now and it's not unpleasant to play! Apparently for this particular fix, it was indeed related to high Hz monitors (so the game goes at higher FPS -> less time to click correctly. Eventually I'll also include a way to cap FPS, so monitors with a high Hz don't try to perform the game with the highest possible FPS, causing unnecessary overwork.
